Having been in the financial planning industry for over three decades, each of those years spent at Lawton Partners, Susan continues to find it deeply rewarding to develop and implement plans that reflect each client’s unique objectives. A specialist in retirement and estate planning, tax planning, cash-flow planning and comprehensive financial planning, Susan’s genuine interest in meeting the needs of her clients and her desire to bring understanding to every situation has led her to several professional achievements. In addition to being a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and a Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C.), she is both a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and a Chartered Financial Planner – and was among the first female advisors in Canada to receive the latter designation.

Susan applies this expertise to ensuring that her clients are provided with personalized service, trustworthy advice, ease of understanding and a level of confidence that allows them to make sound decisions in both good times and bad.

Nicolas Pausing

Nicolas joined Lawton Partners in 2024 as an administrative assistant supporting Susan Stobart and Travis Gesell.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics from the University of Manitoba.  With a growing interest in financial planning and wealth management, he is actively pursuing designations like the CFP to better serve the team and their clients. He is committed to learning and building strong relationships to help deliver exceptional service.
