People matter. This philosophy has guided Elden in both his life and his work at Lawton Partners since he joined the firm in 1978. Although many of his clients have been with him over two decades, Elden never takes their business for granted; instead he works diligently to ensure that each person who has placed their trust in him is well positioned to achieve success. He has further earned his clients’ respect by providing a consistent and honest approach to capital accumulation, retirement planning, estate conservation and intergenerational wealth transfer.
To help clients make well-informed decisions, Elden relies on his experience and knowledge of the latest technologies and strategies. His expertise stems from his varied designations and associations which include:
Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU)
Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C)
Society of Trusts & Estate Practitioners (TEP)
Registered Financial Planner (RFP)
Canadian Institute of Financial Planning
Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP)
Financial Planning Standards Council (FPSC)
One of Elden’s enduring passions has been his community work through the Rotary Club, which he joined in 1984 and has since been recognized for his exceptional local and international contributions. In particular, he has assisted individuals and corporations to establish foundations supporting Manitoba hospitals and universities, in addition to helping found an international youth camp program fostering global peace and understanding. Elden and his wife Diane have two adult children. During his downtime he enjoys fishing, golfing, downhill skiing and working on handyman projects at the cottage.
