Prior to joining Lawton Partners in 2016, Travis worked with a public accounting firm for four years while obtaining his Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation. While working at an accounting firm, Travis realized the part of his job that he enjoyed most was helping clients. He recognized that the skills he had learned, such as accounting and tax, could be applied to help clients reach their financial objectives.
Outside of the office, Travis enjoys activities such as running, tennis, and curling. He is also an active board member with the West Kildonan Curling Club.
BA Econ., TEP, CPCA, Chartered Financial Planner®
Prior to joining Lawton Partners in 1985, Mark was a client of the firm. However, he soon realized that he could apply his professional skills in marketing, accounting, economics and business management to help others reach their financial goals. The extensive, real-world experience that Mark brings to financial planning is one of the main reasons his clients value the advice, strategic advantages and benefits they gain from working with him.
Having been in the financial planning industry for over three decades, each of those years spent at Lawton Partners, Susan continues to find it deeply rewarding to develop and implement plans that reflect each client’s unique objectives. A specialist in retirement and estate planning, tax planning, cash-flow planning and comprehensive financial planning, Susan’s genuine interest in meeting the needs of her clients and her desire to bring understanding to every situation has led her to several professional achievements. In addition to being a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and a Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C.), she is both a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and a Chartered Financial Planner – and was among the first female advisors in Canada to receive the latter designation.
